The PRP 5.3x2 Latch & Link Harness Ratchet (SFI 16.1) is designed to deliver premium comfort, safety, and performance for both recreational driving and competitive racing. Featuring a 5-point design with 2" shoulder and 3” lap belts, this harness includes integrated ratcheting lap belts, upgraded adjustment points, and an SFI 16.1 certification, making it equally useful on the trail or at the track.
At the center of the harness is PRP's redesigned flat Latch & Link buckle. The low-profile design makes latching and unlatching easier while providing a secure connection that keeps you safely restrained throughout your drive.
The removable 5th point anti-submarine strap helps prevent the lap belt from riding up during impacts while keeping the occupant securely positioned in the seat. An integrated adjuster on the 5th point allows you to quickly adjust its length, ensuring the Latch & Link mechanism rests comfortably near the user's belly button for proper fit and operation.
PRP's V-Shape Technology positions the shoulder belts closer together where they attach to the Latch & Link buckle. This improves restraint geometry, helps keep the shoulder belts securely positioned on the occupant during aggressive driving, and reduces the chance of the belts slipping off during impacts or rollovers.
New lightweight EZ Adjusters with oversized red pull tabs make shoulder belt adjustments quicker and smoother than ever. The ratcheting lap belts allow you to first snug the belts into position and then use the included ratchet to achieve maximum tension, minimizing driver movement and providing a secure fit for racing and high-performance driving.
The removable shoulder pads provide comfort during long rides and can easily be removed when using a HANS or other head and neck restraint system. Built-in hook-and-loop strap keepers secure excess shoulder belt webbing to prevent loose straps from flapping during your ride, while dedicated hook-and-loop straps on the shoulder straps provide convenient mounting points for communication cables or hydration tubes.
Every harness comes standard with bolt-in mounting tabs for secure installation. The shoulder and lap tabs can also be converted to clip-in mounting with optional clip-in tabs (sold separately), while the included 3-bar slides allow the shoulder and lap belts to be wrapped around a harness bar for additional installation flexibility.
