The PRP 5.2 Cam-Lock Ratchet Harness is engineered to deliver premium comfort, security, and ease of use for demanding driving conditions. Featuring a 5-point design with 2" shoulder and lap belts, plus a removable and adjustable 5th point anti-submarine strap, this harness keeps you securely positioned while providing all-day comfort. The right-hand lap belt is fixed to the Cam-Lock mechanism, while the shoulder belts, left-hand lap belt, and 5th point can be disengaged from the Cam-Lock mechanism.
At the center of the harness is PRP's all-new Twist + Thumb Release Cam-Lock, combining the security of a traditional twist release with the speed and convenience of a thumb release. This exclusive design allows for quick exits while maintaining a secure connection during use. Unlike traditional Cam-Lock harnesses, PRP's exclusive CleanLatch Technology incorporates dust-resistant seals to help keep dirt, dust, and mud out of the mechanism, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
The harness also incorporates PRP's V-Shape Technology, which positions the shoulder belts closer together where they attach to the Cam-Lock. This improves restraint geometry, helps keep the shoulder belts securely positioned on the occupant during aggressive driving, and reduces the chance of the belts slipping off during impacts or rollovers.
The removable 5th point anti-submarine strap helps prevent the lap belt from riding up during hard impacts while keeping the occupant securely positioned in the seat. An integrated EZ Adjuster on the 5th point strap allows you to quickly tighten or loosen the strap, ensuring the Cam-Lock rests comfortably near the user's belly button for proper fit and operation.
New lightweight, low-profile shoulder adjusters feature oversized red pull tabs, making shoulder belt adjustments smoother and faster than ever. The integrated ratcheting lap belts allow you to tighten the lap belts beyond what is possible with traditional pull adjusters. Simply pull the belts snug, then use the included ratchet to fine-tune the fit for maximum security and minimal driver movement. This makes the harness an excellent choice for racing and high-performance applications where maintaining a secure seating position is critical.
For added versatility, the harness includes removable shoulder pads that are fully compatible with HANS and other head and neck restraint systems. Leave the pads installed for added comfort or remove them when racing with a restraint system. Built-in hook-and-loop keepers secure excess shoulder belt webbing to prevent loose straps from flapping during your ride, while additional hook-and-loop straps on the shoulder belts provide convenient mounting locations for communication cables or hydration tubes.
The harness features lightweight black hardware, removable bolt-in mounting tabs, and included 3-bar slides that allow the shoulder belts and lap belts to be wrapped around a harness bar. The shoulder and lap mounting tabs can also be swapped with optional clip-in tabs (sold separately) for additional installation flexibility.
The PRP 5.2 Cam-Lock Ratchet Harness is SFI 16.1 Certified for racing and built to perform reliably in dirt, dust, mud, and wet conditions.
