A Manufacturer Certified Technician will install a Softopper Truck Top
How to Prepare:
- Confirm that your product number is correct, arrives as scheduled, and appears ready for installation
- Softopper tops should be installed in a warm environment (ideally around or above 72 degrees Fahrenheit). Bring the cover indoors the night before the installation. The fabric will warm up and be more pliable
- Remove any aftermarket accessories or contents in the truck bed
- Make sure the vehicle can be accessed from all sides
- Have a person 18 years or older present for the entire On-Site Service appointment
- As a courtesy, and if applicable, inform your Technician of special parking requirements, such as any no-parking days for street sweeping
- For their safety (and for the Technician’s safety), secure any pets away from the On-Site Service Location
What’s Included:
- Verifying product compatibility with vehicle
- Inspecting product for visible damage
- Assemble and installation of the bedrail following the step-by-step instructions
- Assemble and installation of the folding frame following the step-by-step instructions
- Installation of the soft top canopy with rear bar following the step-by-step instructions
- Verify with the Consumer if they want to install the optional Velcro strips for the bottom of the rear window flap to the tailgate and install accordingly
- Clean-up and removal of packaging
Add-On Services:
Most Consumers do not require add-on services. Due to some variables, additional parts or services can be required for an installation. Below are some common scenarios that might arise. If any of these are needed during your service, your Technician will let you know additional work is needed before doing the work.
- Seam sealer application
- Removal of accessories to accommodate installation
- Anything not listed in the What’s Included
Home Installation:
